She is so bright and she loves learning but as a teacher you want them to do really well. It's like if they don't you're a failure. It's a motherhood thing I am sure.Sarah Amickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04448996968479036346noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6119769200546156350.post-50348080472278975932007-06-19T14:56:00.000-04:002007-06-19T14:56:00.000-04:00Thank you for sharing that quote with me at my blo...Thank you for sharing that quote with me at my blog too. It is wonderful! I wrote a haiku today to remember the scent and sound of cutting lavender in the garden.

I remember getting writer's notebooks for my oldest son when he was in first grade. So exciting to see their first self-recorded thoughts. One of the first things he wrote was "my mom is a great potato cook." I'll never forget it.Andromeda Jazmonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12355192738014962965noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6119769200546156350.post-91675383066713844902007-06-19T14:37:00.000-04:002007-06-19T14:37:00.000-04:00So exciting that your daughter is writing for enjo...So exciting that your daughter is writing for enjoyment. While I was in the Smokies last week, my first-grade niece brought along her writer's notebook, and we both wrote almost every day. I was so excited when our conversation went a bit deeper about the difference between a writer's notebook and a journal. Hooray that she already is able to capture the essence so that she can write about it later. :) I need to take some notes from you. I like the way your blog looks... :)Ingridhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05324132564239706901noreply@blogger.com
